hellos. Thought this comic is quite relevant to the gathering; if only we can turn back the time.. And it happened to be the garfield comic for 16th of June. =)
Okays..for the benefit of those who didn't go, I shall write an entry about yesterday.

16th June: 6A'03 class-gathering
Venues: Jurong Entertainment Centre [JEC]
People attended: Dionne, Odelia, Pin Hong, Sheryl, Shibin, me, Sophia, Wei Han & Xinrong.

We were supposed to meet at the entrance, near Macdonalds, but Sophia and I, being the first two to arrive, resided into the cooling air-conditioned area within JEC. We waited and waited, and met Zhixin with her RV friends. She wasn't going to join us, but just popped by to see how we were doing. =) Then lo and behold, Weihan came![haha]And Sheryl, closely followed by Odelia, came in too. Odelia was standing outside Mac.s, cause she did not know that we were in there.

Then our pro table-tennis player, Shibin, came along in her CCA attire. We were then given an odd survey on drugs to fill in, and there came the organiser, who is none other than Pin Hong.[haha] The girls all tagged along with Shibin to the toilet, cause she needed to change out. But because the toilet stinked, we decided to wait for her outside. yeps..so we tried waiting for Siti, but ended up going to Long Johns for lunch. We ate and drank.[haha] Then we finished eating. We were intending to enter the ice-skating rink when we were held back by Xinrong, who for some reason, could not be with us on time. Thus, we resorted to passing time at the nearby arcade, which turned out pretty well.

Then Xin Rong came and we could finally ice-skate. It started off quite boring, skating in circles again and again and again and again and again.... Then dunno who started the ice ball throwing thing. Behold! A ferocious war broke out between the guys and gals, mainly among Shibin, Odelia, Weihan and Xinrong. Being allies, we manufactured ice balls with utmost efficiency. With Dionne and her pro skating skills, she scraped quite a bit of ice with her graceful brake-stop, while I moulded the ice. Sheryl scraped ice too, as Shibin and Odelia went on a winning streak. :p

Then the time came when they had to resurface. We came to a unified decision to get out of there and move on to something new. We got out and didn't know what to do next. Ideas diversified, but arguments did not break out. We settled down on the seats and rested. There were also small conversations breaking out among us. After what seemed like 50 minutes, rest time was over and they decided to go for bowling.

We walked towards the bus-stop and guess who we met..Sheena! Such coincidence proves that the 6A-bonds shall not break for many years to come.[hehex] We called out to her and moved on. --" We got on the bus, and very quickly, arrived at The Chevrons. Weihan and Xinrong decided not to come along.

Dionne, Odelia, Pinhong and Sheryl played, while Shibin, me and Sophia watched. Actually I attempted playing the bowling game on my handphone, but it turned out pretty boring. Anyhow, I learnt a lot about bowling from Sophia- The Expert. =D Yupps, and competition raged on with Odelia steadily in the lead and Sheryl aiming to win Pinhong. Dionne with her beautiful strikes was also posing a threat.[hahas] After about 2hrs, it was finally time to go home.

We crossed the overhead bridge and I made a discovery that jumping off the overhead bridge was definitely a brilliant way of commiting suicide. That's because when you jump off it, you will be run over by a car too, so that makes it "confirm-die", rather than you suffer a fracture somewhere and depress over the fact that your suicide failed. =)

Then we boarded bus 99 home. The girls sat at the outside seats and chatted. Pinhong, being the only guy, resided into his corner and whipped out his whatever it was to listen. Nevertheless, as the saying goes, "curiosity is a man's greatest weakness", he only listened through one ear-piece, leaving the other ear for eaves-dropping.:p I shall not reveal the contents of our conversation, partly because I cannot remember everything, and also because it is not open to the public.

We rounded up our chat with an interesting discovery that Pinhong has developed a new habit of..winking.?[haha] And we came up with various greetings to suit with his habit. It was quite funny. Then Pinhong alighted first, followed by Sheryl, me, Sophia, Dionne and Odelia, then lastly Shibin. I can't give you details on what happened after I alighted eh...

So, our gathering was considered a success, though the number of people wasn't subjected to much change. It was fun, at least we enjoyed the time spent together. May the spirit of 6A last...^-^
